Marvell Reportedly Nears Deal to Acquire Lumentum in AI Megadeal

Marvell is reportedly nearing a deal to acquire Lumentum Holdings, Bloomberg reported October 28, 2026. No definitive agreement has been signed. Bloomberg put Lumentum's market value at about $83 billion and Marvell's at about $221 billion. Lumentum's optical components are reportedly sold out through early 2029 on AI data center demand.
