Founder Steps Back at Indian Venture Firm as New Fund Launches

Nandan Nilekali has stepped down as head of Fundamentum Partnership, the investment firm he started in 2017 to back new companies in India. Four partners now lead the firm's new $200 million fund, which supports early-stage businesses in consumer tech, fintech, and artificial intelligence. Nilekaki remains the firm's largest investor and continues advising its companies.
