Police Look Into Large Donation to Jenrick's Campaign
The Metropolitan Police are investigating a £37,500 donation to Robert Jenrick's 2024 Conservative leadership campaign after regulators referred it in January 2025. The money allegedly came from an American businessman and was funnelled through a British company. The law bans foreign donations to political campaigns. Jenrick, now a Reform MP, says he did not know the businessman or accept illegal funds.
