Labour moves slightly ahead of National in new poll

Labour is polling at 31.5 percent, just ahead of National at 30.5 percent, according to a new poll conducted in early July. Both of the government's junior partners lost ground: NZ First fell to 10.8 percent and ACT to 6.9 percent. When other smaller parties are counted, the government still has enough seats to pass laws.
