Labour pulls ahead of National in latest poll as coalition partners lose ground

Labour leads National 31.5 percent to 30.5 percent in the latest Taxpayers' Union–Curia poll, conducted 1–5 July. National gained 0.4 points but both coalition partners fell: NZ First to 10.8 percent (down 0.6) and ACT to 6.9 percent (down 0.9). Labour slipped 0.7 points. Despite Labour's lead on party vote, the coalition still holds a 62–58 seat majority when Greens and Te Pāti Māori are factored in.
