Apple acknowledges a problem with the inside screen on some iPhone Duo phones

Apple says it knows about a problem with the inside screen on a small number of iPhone Duo phones. Apple has told affected owners to contact AppleCare, its support service, for a replacement. Owners report cracked 7.6-inch inside screens, often with a bright line running from the middle to the right edge. Apple has not said the cause.
