Apple acknowledges inner-display issue on a small number of iPhone Duo units

Apple says it is aware of "an issue impacting the inner display" on a "small number of iPhone Duo units" and has told owners of affected devices to contact AppleCare for a replacement. Owners report cracked 7.6-inch inner screens, often with a bright line running from the center to the right edge. Cause not yet confirmed by Apple.
