Arizona toddler pronounced dead, then found alive in hospital morgue
An 18-month-old pulled from a Gilbert, Arizona pool was declared dead by a doctor at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center on February 8. Hours later, a worker from the county morgue found the child breathing in a refrigeration unit. The child was flown to another hospital, recovered, and went home. Police video shows officers saw signs of life before the doctor made his pronouncement. Prosecutors are still deciding whether to file charges.
