Security team Calif says it broke into the iPhone it targeted

A security research team called Calif says it broke into the iPhone it set out to hack. It showed a series of demonstrations at Hexacon, a security conference in Paris. A blog post dated 16 October 2026 lists them, including one labelled "Signal 1-click", a break-in method needing just one action from the user.
