Three Companies Plan Self-Driving Taxi Tests in Kazakhstan from 2027

inDrive, Pony.ai and Nvidia have signed a memorandum of understanding, an early agreement to explore putting Pony.ai's self-driving taxis on inDrive's ride-booking app. Testing in Astana, Kazakhstan, is planned to start in the first half of 2027. No vehicles are operating yet. Early tests would include a safety driver ready to take the wheel.
