Tesla swaps its self-driving taxi chart in shareholder letter

Tesla's October 2026 letter to shareholders dropped a chart of paid self-driving taxi miles from the previous letter and added one for miles driven with no human supervision. On the earnings call, its chief financial officer said usage was "improving" but gave no numbers. In April, Tesla said paid miles nearly doubled from the prior quarter in early 2026.
