Tesla and SpaceX Each Set Up Groups to Study a Merger

Tesla and SpaceX have each set up small special groups to look at a possible merger, Elon Musk revealed shortly before Tesla reported its third-quarter financial results on October 21. Musk called a combination a "good idea" but said he would stay out of the process. No deal has been announced.
