Spotify lets fans pay podcasters for extra perks

Spotify started paid podcast memberships on October 20, 2026, in 34 markets including the U.S. First described at its May Investor Day, it lets podcast makers earn money not just from locked extra episodes but from different payment levels with added extras. Shows qualify only if hosted on Spotify for Creators or Megaphone.
