Joe Cordina cleared of assault after Cardiff petrol station punch

Joe Cordina has been found not guilty of assault by beating after knocking Jamie O'Brien to the ground outside a garage in Pentwyn, Cardiff, in February. District Judge Charlotte Murphy ruled at Cardiff Magistrates' Court the two-time IBF super-featherweight champion believed force was necessary and his 'single, measured, controlled punch' was proportionate.
