New App Helps You Spot Fake Voice and Video Calls Made by AI

A new smartphone app launched today that detects when someone is using artificial intelligence to impersonate a voice or face in a phone or video call. The tool, called Savi Security, was created by two former tech executives after scammers used AI to fake a kidnapping of their mother. The startup raised $7 million in funding to build and launch the app.
