Putin wants Ukraine talks without Ukraine

Vladimir Putin has suggested he, America's Donald Trump and China's Xi Jinping meet next month to end Russia's four-year war in Ukraine — without Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky invited, and on terms helping Russia. That leaves Ukraine and the EU, Europe's bloc, out. A deal is hard to stick if Ukraine itself doesn't agree.
