Rivian plans to let other companies' smart helpers work in its cars

Future Rivian cars will be able to use smart helpers made by other companies, CEO RJ Scaringe said at TechCrunch Disrupt in October 2026. He named Anthropic as an example, like apps from different makers on one phone. No date was given. Rivian gave no more detail, pointing to its AI & Autonomy Day in December.
