Australia Signs New Defence Agreement With Fiji

Australian PM Albanese and Fiji's PM Rabuka signed an agreement on 6 July promising to help each other if attacked. It's Australia's second such deal in a year—it did the same with Papua New Guinea last October. For 75 years, Australia had only defence agreements with America and New Zealand.
