Cornell head admits he failed student who reported attack

Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff said he mishandled a November 2024 report from Jane Doe who said men sexually attacked her at the Chi Phi fraternity. He told the New York Times in a 90-minute interview he knew of the report but never checked back, learning she had left school only when she sued last month. They deny it; none charged.
