Video Camera Found in Bedroom on Australian Navy Ship in Cairns

Australia's Defence department says a camera that records video was found in a crew bedroom aboard its navy ship Leeuwin while docked in Cairns, Queensland. It learned of the device on 11 October 2026. Leeuwin, like a car first registered in 2000, began navy service that year and is named after Cape Leeuwin in Western Australia.
