Plan to save more Aussie gas for home use

Resources Minister Madeleine King has put a bill to parliament to keep more Australian gas for locals from January 2028 — a national first. Think saving snags before the barbie runs out. She outlined it at Canberra's National Press Club on 14 October 2026. It's a proposal only, not law yet.
