Ohio Man on Trial Over Rwanda Past

A federal trial has started in Boston for Eric Tabaro Nshimiye, 55, a Rwandan-American U.S. citizen from Uniontown, Ohio. Prosecutors say he hid his part in Rwanda's 1994 genocide, mass killings, before his 2024 arrest. He is charged with perjury, lying under oath, and obstruction, blocking justice, for allegedly lying to investigators and in 2019 testimony.
