Caine Prize Story Flagged as AI-Generated, Author Denies It

The Atlantic reported that Pangram, an AI-detection tool, flagged Simbarashe Kundizeza's Caine Prize-winning 'The Blue Fighter' as entirely AI-generated. Kundizeza denies using AI to write it. Such detection scores remain disputed, so a software result alone should not be treated as final proof of who wrote the story.
