Pennsylvania's measles outbreak claims a sixth life
Pennsylvania has had a sixth death connected to measles, coroner James Conner of Franklin County announced Oct. 12. A 39-year-old woman who had not received the measles shot died, likely from a sudden heart issue possibly caused by measles. Health officials are checking the report. Since April, the state has seen 1,137 cases and 219 hospital stays.
