Delhi Police Detain Protest Leaders Over Missing Voter Names

Police in Delhi detained Cockroach Janta Party leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das on 13 October at Jantar Mantar, a common protest site. They climbed barriers with Indian flags, calling for election chief Gyanesh Kumar to quit over a voter-list check that cut tens of millions of names, like cleaning a class roster. Their party says about 20 were detained.
