QGIS Says No to Help From AI

QGIS now bans AI contributions outright. On Oct. 7, 2026, it added rule QEP428 to its main files, called qgis:master. The rule, proposed Sept. 24 by nyalldawson as request PR #387 in the ideas list qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals, sets AI policy to strict 'NOT ALLOWED.' It came in as two saved changes from draft copy qep_428.
