Australia's Public Broadcaster Might Fire Reporter Over Newspaper Article, Union Says

Australia's public broadcaster, the ABC, has not ruled out firing climate reporter Michael Slezak over an article he wrote for the Australian Financial Review, another newspaper, on 5 October, the journalists' union MEAA says. Slezak, who leads the union's media section, was asked about breaking ABC rules on outside work, which the ABC says guard its reputation.
