Conservative conference sang 'I Am Australian' without asking, writer says

The conservative conference CPAC sang 'I Am Australian' at its Brisbane opening on Saturday without asking, says Bruce Woodley, who helped write the Seekers song. It came straight after the anthem and Waltzing Matilda and was printed in the program. Woodley says he never said yes. So much for a spur-of-the-moment singalong.
