Supreme Court to rule on whether states can remove noncitizens from voting lists before elections

The Supreme Court will decide whether a 1993 federal law stops states from removing noncitizens from voter rolls weeks before elections. If the court sides with Arizona, states could do these removals without waiting 90 days first. Georgia, Texas, and other states are running similar programs to check who can vote.
