Poland Arrests Man Accused of Planning to Kill Top Leaders

Police in Poland arrested a man accused of planning to kill Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the head of government, and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in charge of the military, Tusk said on 11 October 2026. Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński confirmed the arrest. Tusk praised police for 'swift and decisive action.'
