Trump Asks Senator Fetterman to Become a Republican

On Oct. 10 President Donald Trump asked Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, a Democrat, to switch to the Republican Party, the rival political team. At Joint Base Andrews after a Tennessee rally, Trump told reporters, “I’d love to see him as a Republican.” Fetterman announced no switch. It comes weeks before November midterms, elections deciding Senate control.
