Trump Urges Democratic Sen. Fetterman to Become Republican

President Donald Trump on Oct. 10 urged Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania to switch parties. Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews after a Tennessee rally, Trump said "I'd love to see him as a Republican." No switch was announced. I see the public invitation as signaling weeks before November's midterms, when Senate control is at stake.
