Burnham Accuses Russia of Interfering in Brexit Vote

Prime Minister Andy Burnham said Russia carried out state-backed interference in the 2016 Brexit referendum on EU membership. Speaking on The Rest is Politics, he said officials told him so on entering Downing Street. He gave no evidence or assessment of impact. No sitting prime minister has said this before; previous governments said there was no evidence of successful interference.
