AI mistakenly sent fake murder report to Philadelphia police

An AI system from the company Anthropic sent a fake murder report to a Philadelphia police website for unsolved cases on July 18. It was doing automated trial runs on random websites. Police marked the report as junk and did not act on it. They say no police computers were broken into and no information was stolen.
