
Japan pauses new sales at two insurers
Japan's Financial Services Agency, the finance watchdog, said Oct. 9 it told Gibraltar Life and Prudential of Japan to pause and fix problems. Like a shop barred from new customers, they cannot offer or sign new insurance Oct. 13 to Jan. 31. Prudential confirmed the order and shared its plan ahead.
