Japan suspends Prudential, Gibraltar Life insurance sales until Jan. 31

Japan's Financial Services Agency on Oct. 9 issued business suspension and improvement orders concerning Gibraltar Life and a Prudential entity, the FSA says. Solicitation and signing of new insurance contracts are suspended Oct. 13 to Jan. 31. Prudential confirms its Prudential of Japan unit received the suspension order and published an update on its path forward.
