Green Party says backing a Jewish state is racism

Members of the Green Party of England and Wales voted to say Zionism, the idea of a Jewish state, is racism. The BBC said the motion defined it as a state favouring Jewish people and backed one Palestinian state. Four of its five MPs in Parliament and one of two deputy leaders opposed it. It is now official policy.
