Young leader says New Delhi protest over who can vote will go on

An Indian youth leader said Oct. 9 a planned protest in New Delhi over changes to voter lists — the official sheets of who can vote — will go ahead despite detentions. Police held protesters Oct. 2-3 during Gen Z youth rallies demanding election chief Gyanesh Kumar quit. Whether protests can last will test protesters and election officials.
