Ottawa wants faster approval for big national projects

Bill C-39, the Building Canada Strong Act, would give Ottawa more power to approve projects seen as good for the whole country, each with one review in one year, like one test. Related changes would also ease checks for pipelines and new power lines abroad, to make decisions faster and more predictable.
