ChatGPT Maker Says Sales Pace Nears $50 Billion a Year

OpenAI told investors it is now bringing in money at a pace that would equal almost $50 billion over a full year, the Financial Times reported Oct. 8 via TechCrunch. That is about $20 billion less than the $70 billion pace reported Sept. 29 from investor papers meant to compare OpenAI with rival Anthropic.
