Former Hampshire Police Boss Broke Serious Rules Over Work Relationships

A disciplinary board in Eastleigh said former Hampshire and Isle of Wight top officer Scott Chilton, 53, seriously broke conduct rules by having consensual relationships with two lower-ranking staff. One involved sex at work; the other started weeks after he became boss in February 2023. He had retired before the hearing. The issue was using boss power, not consent.
