Amazon Renames Its Tablets From Fire to Alexa

Amazon has stopped using the Fire name for its tablets and now calls them Alexa Tablet, said Panos Panay, Amazon's senior vice president in charge of devices and Alexa. It is the first Amazon device to use Alexa as its main product name. Panay said other products will get the Alexa name only "when it makes sense."
