Music Streaming Service Stops Paying for AI-Made Songs

Tidal will identify and block AI-generated music from earning royalties, eliminating the financial motive to flood the platform with cheap synthetic tracks. The problem it addresses: lots of AI-made songs dilute the payouts that human musicians receive per play. The approach also lets other services filter similarly. How Tidal will actually detect AI-made music isn't clear yet.
