The FBI says it stopped a plan to attack the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. On Oct. 7, 2026, officials said 18-year-old Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud was arrested. He is accused of getting a gun to commit terrorism — using violence to scare people for a cause — after agents followed the case for almost two years.
