
Ottawa plan would let defence buyer work more on its own
Ottawa has put forward Bill C-40 to turn its Defence Investment Agency into the Canadian Corporation for Defence Investment. Like other public agencies, it would have its own board and run daily buying with less direct control from ministers. The government says this would let Canada buy military equipment faster.
