New Free-to-Use AI That Handles Words and Pictures, Made in Europe

Mistral AI has released Mistral Large 4, a general-use AI that handles words and pictures and others can download and use. Like a large team where only needed specialists step in, it holds 1.05 trillion adjustable parts but uses 49 billion at a time, plus 1.6 billion for images. It was built entirely in Europe.
