Asos shoppers get worrying 'hacked' phone alert

Thousands of Asos shoppers got a phone-app message titled 'Asos hacked' on 6 October 2026. It claimed hackers had broken into Asos's Snowflake storage — like its big online filing cabinet — and gave a Telegram link. Asos said it was still checking if a break-in happened. Its website and app stayed working.
