Australians feel most gloomy about money since the 1990s

Australians felt gloomier about money after the Reserve Bank raised rates on 29 September. Confidence scored 67.2 on the Westpac-Melbourne Institute index, the lowest since the late 1990s. The poll ran 28 September to 1 October, before and after the main interest rate rose to 4.60%. I will be watching how quickly worries spread.
