Labour says its election money plan is $89.6 million short. The Taxpayers' Union said Labour counted reversing two rent payments — the Income Related Rent Subsidy and Accommodation Supplement — as a $44.8m saving, not a cost, like calling a bill income. Labour said a cost and a saving were mixed up, and it will fix the plan.
