Peters says no to National plan to cut overseas aid to pay for medicines

NZ First leader Winston Peters opposes National's promise to cut aid to countries outside the Pacific to pay for more than $820 million extra for Pharmac, which buys medicines. The Foreign Minister called it 'desperate and dangerous'. National leader Christopher Luxon said he did not speak to Peters before announcing it in Auckland with health spokesperson Simeon Brown.
